Texas Children’s Hospital is nationally ranked among the nation’s top 3 children’s hospitals for 2021-22 by U.S News & World Report and is the largest free-standing children’s hospital system in the nation. The Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine currently employs over 95 Pediatric Anesthesiologists and many of whom have additional training and board certifications in Pediatrics, Pediatric Critical Care, Pediatric CV Anesthesia, Obstetrics or Pain Medicine. Completing more than 47,000 anesthetics annually in 65 anesthetizing locations, the demand for our ever-growing service is on the rise. Recruitment efforts for additional Pediatric Anesthesiology physician faculty are underway to support significant growth in the TCH system, including our newest Austin Campus location. This is a team of talented, highly motivated individuals, all with ACGME Pediatric Anesthesiology fellowship training and Pediatric Anesthesiology Board Certification that is continuing to grow.
