Norton Children’s, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine, is the pediatric provider division of Norton Healthcare a non-profit healthcare system in Louisville, Kentucky. Norton Children’s  employs more than 500 medical providers who work in over 170 locations in Kentucky and Southern Indiana. To support the community’s need for expanded care, Norton Children’s encompasses all pediatric care, including inpatient, outpatient, specialty and primary care. Patients have access to multidisciplinary resources through Norton Healthcare's extensive network of primary and specialty care practices and medical centers.

Norton Children's Heart Institute is home to the only comprehensive pediatric cardiac surgery, heart failure and transplant program serving Kentucky and Southern Indiana. The full-service program features a specialized team that includes cardiovascular surgeons; transplant surgeons; heart failure cardiologists; pediatric cardiologists; fetal cardiologists; adult congenital heart disease specialists; pediatric and ACHD electrophysiologists; interventional cardiologists; cardiovascular anesthesiologists; intensive care physicians; specially trained pharmacist, social worker, dietitian, child life specialist and nurses; a family support team; and a rehabilitation specialist. In addition to local and regional outpatient clinic visits, services this team provides include interventional catheterization; electrophysiology studies and catheter ablations; implantations of pacemakers and cardioverter-defibrillators; heart failure treatment; heart transplantation; adult congenital heart disease care; fetal cardiology; telemedicine; fetal, transesophageal and teleechocardiograms; and advanced three-dimensional cardiac imaging. The 17-bed Jennifer Lawrence Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at Norton Children’s Hospital features private rooms dedicated to children recovering from heart procedures; open heart surgery, including transplant; heart failure; and other conditions requiring intensive care.
