	Norton Children’s, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine, is the pediatric provider division of Norton Healthcare a non-profit healthcare system in Louisville, Kentucky. Norton Children’s employs more than 500 medical providers who work in over 170 locations in Kentucky and Southern Indiana. To support the community’s need for expanded care, Norton Children’s encompasses all pediatric care, including inpatient, outpatient, specialty and primary care. Patients have access to multidisciplinary resources through Norton Healthcare's extensive network of primary and specialty care practices and medical centers. Norton Children's Heart Institute is home to the only comprehensive pediatric cardiac surgery, heart failure and transplant program serving Kentucky and Southern Indiana. The 17-bed Jennifer Lawrence Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at Norton Children’s Hospital features private rooms dedicated to children recovering from heart procedures; open heart surgery, including transplant; heart failure; and other conditions requiring intensive care.
