Jill E. Jacobs, M.D., MS-HQSM
is Professor of Radiology at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine, the Section Chief of Cardiac Imaging for the NYU Langone Health (NYULMC) Radiology Department and the Director of Quality and Safety for the NYU Health Brooklyn campus of the NYU Health Radiology Department.
Dr. Jacobs graduated from Jefferson Medical College, completed internship and radiology residency at Hartford Hospital, and completed a body imaging fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center. She spent 10 years on faculty of the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center Radiology Department, serving as Interim Chief of the abdominal CT section, before joining NYULMC. Dr. Jacobs is a Fellow of the American College of Radiology, the American Heart Association, the Society for Advanced Body Imaging, the Society of Abdominal Radiology, the Society of Cardiovascular CT, and the North American Society for Cardiac Imaging. She is a Past President of NASCI and past Chair of the CVRI Council of the American Heart Association. Dr. Jacobs is a member of multiple national and local radiologic societies, and an honorary member of the Radiologic Society of South Africa. She serves on multiple national scientific committees, and reviews for several prominent radiologic journals. Dr. Jacobs has authored numerous articles on cardiac CT and abdominal imaging and frequently lectures at national and international radiologic meetings. She has been selected as a Top Doctor in NY annually since 2013, and received the New York Roentgen Society Radiologist Service award in 2019. Dr. Jacobs also completed a Masters of Science degree in Healthcare Quality and Safety Management through Jefferson Medical College in 2019.
