Mr. Brett Bergman, MBA, MPA, PA-C is the Regional Director of Advanced Practice for Kaiser Permanente in Southern California. In this role he oversees the strategic planning, development, and practice implementation of over 600 PAs, 600 NPs, 100 CNMs, 400 CRNAs, and 300 Optometrists. He serves as a highly visible expert consultant and advisor to senior Kaiser Permanente leadership and Physician partners.

Mr. Bergman practiced as a PA in Interventional Radiology, where he established the first PA-based fluoroscopy program in California. He was recruited for the pilot program to expand PAs in Interventional Radiology within Kaiser Permanente in Southern California, prior to transitioning to his administrative role.

Mr. Bergman serves as the Immediate Past President of the California Academy of PAs (CAPA). During his time with the organization, CAPA sponsored monumental legislation that was signed into law by the Governor in 2019, modernizing the PA Practice Act in California.
