KAREN RAGLAND, MD, MPH, MBA, PRP

Dr. Karen Ragland is a Neuroradiologist in private practice at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center located in Long Beach, California.  A graduate of Stanford University and University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine, she completed a residency in radiology at Kaiser Sunset Los Angeles and a two-year fellowship in Neuroradiology at USC Medical Center and Duke University School of Medical School.

Dr. Ragland maintains Certificates of Added Qualification in both Neuroradiology and Pediatric Radiology. She received her MPH from UC Berkeley in 1987 and her MBA from UCLA in 2000. She currently serves as Parliamentarian of the Section on Radiology and Radiation Oncology of the National Medical Association.

Dr. Ragland holds memberships in the American Society of Neuroradiology, American Society of Spine Radiology, Radiological Society of North America, American Roentgen Ray Society, American College of Radiology, California Radiological Society, Los Angeles Radiological Society and the National Medical Association. 

Dr. Ragland is a past President of the Association of Black Women Physicians, an organized network of Black Women Physicians committed to the improvement of public health and welfare.  She received her Professional Registered Parliamentarian credential in 2019 and is president of Green Gavel Electronic Unit of the National Association of Parliamentarians.
