Peter Abraham was born in Cairo, Egypt and immigrated to Southern California with his family at age two. During his undergraduate studies at Stanford University, he majored in Human Biology and walked on to the Varsity Men's Basketball Team. He then attended UC San Diego School of Medicine for his Medical Doctorate and completed an additional Master's in Advanced Studies in Clinical Research as part of the UC San Diego Extension program. Peter is currently a resident physician in the Department of Radiology at UC San Diego. His research interests include diversity/equity/inclusion and health services research, with a focus on health policy and cost-effectiveness research.
