Dr. Bell is a Southern California native who did her undergraduate degree at UCSD and medical school at Boston University. Her first residency was in general pediatrics at CHLA, after which she was as an attending pediatrician at CHLA for 7 years. Dr. Bell worked in the urgent care and, afterwards, joined the Children's Emergency Transport Team (helicopter, ambulance, fixed wing) at CHLA. In 2013, she did her second residency at USC in anesthesiology. This was followed by a pediatric anesthesia fellowship at CHLA. She is now part of the CHLA faculty and director of the pediatric anesthesia rotation for residents.
