Steven Henglefelt is from Phoenix, Arizona and studied physiology at the University of Arizona. He stayed in Tucson to complete his medical education and anesthesiology training before spending a wonderful year at CHLA for pediatric fellowship. He returned home to Phoenix to join the pediatric division of Valley anesthesia before transitioning to the newly established Department of Anesthesiology at Phoenix Children's. A couple of fun facts about him is that he is a connoisseur of Disney trivia, has a knack for dad jokes despite having no children, and an avid football fan...despite having the obligation to root for the Cardinals!
