Barry Kussman, MBBCh, SM, FFA(SA) is a pediatric cardiac anesthesiologist at Boston Children’s Hospital. He received his medical degree from the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa. He completed his anesthesiology training at Groote Schuur Hospital and the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital in Cape Town, followed by fellowships in pediatric anesthesia and cardiac anesthesia at Boston Children’s Hospital and the Beth Israel Hospital, respectively. His clinical focus is the perioperative care of infants, children, and adults with congenital heart disease. He recently graduated with a Master of Science in Bioethics from Harvard Medical School.
