Ludwig is a Program Co-Chair for the 2025 CSA Annual Meeting; he is the chair of the CSA CPPC, and sits on the EPD and WWISE committees. For the ASA, he is on the Committees for Professional Development, Professional Diversity, Problem Based Learning Discussion, and Communications. He is also the founder of the CSA's Vital Signs podcast series, and a podcast host for the Society of Critical Care Medicine's podcast series. Ludwig was born in Taipei, moved to Munich West Germany for 4th and 5th grades, spent his high school years in San Diego CA, and has been in the Bay Area ever since, attending Stanford undergrad, UCSF medical school, anesthesia residency, Critical Care Medicine fellowship, Associate Professor at Stanford, and Professor at UCSF for Anesthesia/CCM/Regional Anesthesia.
