As a passionate educator in regional anesthesia, point-of-care ultrasound techniques, and healthcare sustainability, I have dedicated myself to advancing our practice and improving patient care. As a newsletter editor and videographer, I enjoy educating and publishing resources for my peers. As the perioperative lead sustainability officer for the Lucile Packard Children's hospital, I have been instrumental in reducing the cost of pharmaceutical waste at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital. I am currently leading a grant-funded medical waste project and active in the CSA Task for Sustainability. In addition to teaching workshops and lectures on sustainability, I am developing a healthcare sustainability curriculum with the AIM lab to educate future healthcare providers and current trainees. I aim to become a national leader in pediatric regional and point-of-care ultrasound while keeping sustainability in healthcare at the forefront.
