I work at the University of California San Diego on the Anesthesia Critical Care and Neurocritical Care team and hold board certifications in Anesthesiology, Critical Care, Neurocritical Care, and Basic Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography. My research focuses on postoperative pulmonary complications and neuroprotection, while my teaching emphasizes bedside ultrasonography and neuromonitoring. I am also an active member of the ASA committees of Critical Care and Neuroanesthesia.
