Reema Sanghvi is the Director of the Division of Global Health in the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of California in San Diego. In the spirit of collaboration we are actively involved in a Consortium of Global Health Clinician Educators at UCSD Health, and teach a course to undergraduate students and graduate students in Global Health entitled Clinical Perspectives in Global Health. We offer three to five international rotations annually to our residents, in three capacity building endeavors at residency programs in Guyana, Zambia and Mozambique, as well as at community hospitals in Nigeria, Tanzania, Guatemala and Peru. We also offer a one year fellowship program in Global Health and Policy.
