Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the California Society of Anesthesiologists (CSA) Educational Programs Division, it is with great enthusiasm that we extend our heartfelt welcome to our annual spring meeting at the picturesque Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, California. This year’s program holds a promise to be an exhilarating and refreshing educational course packed with great speakers, all experts in their field. 

The Program starts on Friday morning covering with obstetric and pediatric anesthesia followed by a networking lunch with exhibitors. The afternoon session focuses on regional, acute, and chronic pain management. Friday evening will close out with a welcome reception in the Exhibit Hall.

Saturday promises to be a pivotal day, starting with a Continental Breakfast and Poster Presentations.  You will have the opportunity to meet the CSA and ASA presidents as well as hear the Leffingwell lecture given by Dr. Jesse M Ehrenfeld, anesthesiologist and president of the American Medical Association. The remainder of the day features excellent speakers covering interesting cardiac topics for non-cardiac anesthesiologist as well as critical care topics such as protective lung ventilations strategies. The day concludes with neuroanesthesia and a stimulating Pro/Con debate.

Additionally, we have included two workshops, POCUS and Regional, which require a separate registration, followed by the CSA GASPAC Reception.

Sunday offers a half day program covering interesting topics from Global Health, Diversity, and Inclusion in Anesthesia as well as challenges encountered in Out-of-OR Anesthesia. The day concludes with a session dedicated to discussing the top articles in 2024 and their clinical impact.

The 2024 CSA Annual Meeting promises to deliver not only an outstanding educational experience for anesthesiologists but also a valuable opportunity to network with peers in our scientific community. We eagerly look forward to seeing you soon at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim.
